New Year's Resolutions and what have you come up with. In today's economy you may be thinking saving money, hoping to pay the bills and just surviving. This is the time to focus on God's words, use his words written many years ago to strengthen you life and ultimately change yours and those you come in contact with. God has a plan for us all and your life may feel terrible right now but it will come around if you can hold the faith in God's word. I have had a very trying year. I am trying to launch a new and unique product but I have never done anything like this before. I have no idea what to do and in what order. I have listened to others and not always listened to my gut "God's Words" in making my decisions and now I am paying for it because things are delayed.
I was listening to a sermon the other day and something the pastor said has stuck in my mind. He said if someone else told you that God told them to tell you to do something you need to walk away. God has a direct circuit to us and he does not need to go through someone else to get us our messages unless we are to bull headed to listen.
Listen to God's words know his word and read his word, then you can truly live in God's presences and reap what he has created for us. Happy New Year.

Have you take the time to read the Bible cover to cover lately? The Bible is the best diet book on the market, if we think about every successful diet on the market follows the exact plan God wrote about many years ago. We are to avoid items that have been chemically altered. Eating Fruit and Vegetables with out seeds is just an odd comment. If a product can not reproduce itself if probably is not healthy for our bodies. Are we chemically altering our milk so far that our body can not even absorb the calcium it was created for. When I speak to groups I design my programs to make you think about the things around us and search out answers in the Bible. Eating wild game was something they did because they did not want to remove the food source of the milk and egg producers. In todays world, we mass farm and add chemicals to the diet of the animals we eat and then more chemicals in process. We say we do these things because we want to protect our food source but are we really harming the source instead. I was just reading an article about farmers in other countries refusing to heat the milk for pasteurization because they believe it kills the natural chemicals in the milk that helps our body use it correctly.

School is back in session. Work at Home moms across the country are probably working there fingers to the bones to catch up. I love the fact that I can work my schedule around the my children but summer offers a challenge for me because my kids want to be fed breakfast, lunch and dinner not to mention wanting friends here all the time. I love knowing where my kids are, which is another advantage to this work from home theory.
As your groups are planning events for the fall, remember I offer so great programming and can create programs to fit your specific needs. I look forward to working with many of you in the near future.

This is story I received from another Christian and wanted to share it with you my readers. We all know he is with us but sometimes we need to have our eyes opened to see him and his message to us. Read on.

Many years ago, my Mom died when I was only 12 years old. Naturally, this was devastating for me. Every time a new occasion arose, I felt a stab of pain deep in my heart. When my father gave me a key to the house, the door was never locked before because Mom was always home to greet me when I returned home from school, the first Mother's Day, the first Thanksgiving, I had to cook the turkey that year, the first Christmas, the list goes on and on.
As the years passed, with many prayers for strength and peace, the pain subsided and I came to live with the reality.
Getting engaged when I was 23 years old was a joyous occasion for me. As the wedding plans were being formulated and the date drew closer and closer, I started to feel that old familiar stab of pain deep in my heart because my Mother was not going to be sitting in the first row. This was a major event in my life and I felt cheated! Not only that but I thought I would walk down the isle crying and ruin the whole event!
About a week before my wedding, I prayed to God and Jesus Christ to ease my pain and take away my anger so I would not ruin my wedding day. I prayed hard and long with my eyes closed and then it happened! A bright light, very small at first growing larger and closer, revealed a vision of my Mother's face. In my mind, I heard her speak, "I will be with you, rejoicing with you on your wedding day." Then the light grew smaller until it disappeared all together.
I immediately opened my eyes and very excitedly told my fiancee, who was sitting on the other couch in the same room with me, what had just happened! Words could not then nor can they now describe the happiness, love, comfort and peace that filled my heart and my spirit when God allowed my Mother to come to me. Needless to say, I walked down the isle with a smile on my face, happiness in my heart and a comforted spirit, not only because my mother was with me, but because through God and Jesus Christ my prayers were answered during my hour of greatest need.
Non-spiritual or non-Christians may say I fell asleep and dreamed this event. Let me explain, I have dreamed of my Mother many times since her death both before and after God and Jesus Christ sent my Mother to comfort me. I know when I have been sleeping and not. When ever I dream about my Mother, I see her whole body and not just her face, there is realistic scenery not bright light and in my dreams my Mother never speaks to me or anyone.

Are your prayers in line with your needs? Do you take the time to really sit patiently with God and focus on what he is saying. When I started working on the Food of the Bible Book, I was not focusing on every aspect of my life falling into the lines of the Bible but as I worked toward that goal God was leading me to other goals that were part of the big plan. God knows what is best for us and we are not always willing to listen to what he has to say. We think we know what we are doing and what should be the ultimate outcome but NO PERSON actually knows what is in store for them. I was listening to a pastor on television the other morning as I was waiting for my family to get ready for church and he made a very profound statement to "ME." The reason I said to me is because I have heard it before but I need to hear it at that moment. The devil is out to make life difficult. Christians do not necessary have the easy street, they often have to deal with way more than those who choose to allow the devil in their home.
Several years ago, I left a good job and started my own company. Many people were skeptical but I knew that it was God's plan for me. But I "wanted" his plan to be an easy transition but it was not. I first had to learn how to manage my time, learn a great deal of patience and of course fight off the devil everyday. He is always looking for ways to create turmoil. Last week in the mist of everything else, we had terrible rain and our house leaked. This is not a house in disrepair. This is a home that is well maintained and should not need a lot of up keep. But prior to the rains coming in large quality we had had over of month of no rain at all. A pipe that leads from our roof to the flower bed that allows for the rain to leave the roof had become plugged. Gallons upon gallons of water entered the house. I was in tears. Why did this need to happen? After a short while of sucking up the water, I started to laugh and said okay God, maybe my carpets need to be clean. I know God did not do this to me. But instead of being mad and that is what the Devil was hoping for, I found humor in it. God offers us many points of relief in our sometimes overwhelming lives if we just allow him too.

Overwhelming. My plate was full today and woke up to my roof leaking and water flowing into my son's bedroom. I know that God does not give us more than we can handle but sometimes I wish life would just be simple. I know people who are not Christian who seem to just coast on through life and never really hits a bump. I personally know that life will be amazing when I go off to heaven but I don't expect that to happen anytime soon so, I just laughed this morning as I am cleaning up the carpet. I guess he must have thought the carpets needed to be cleaned. He was right,I pulled out a lot of dirt.

I just the spent weekend in Western New York State. I was sharing my passion for eating healthy with the women and men that joined us at a conference. I always seem to meet a few people who are having to deal with Celiac's Disease. I feel for them not because the problem can not be handled but because they struggle with making the necessary changes for themselves or their loved one. For person who has always eaten what they wanted to have to change their diet it is always hard. Celiac's have to deal with eating out, which is the most difficult part of the process. What do you eat? So much food has fillers that you don't even think about, or how about soy sauce. So many places use it as a flavoring but not a good move for my celiac friends. Well best wishes, if you have any question about celiac disease please email me and I will answer them or direct you to a good source.

Celiac's are on the rise in this country. Some people feel it is because of all the processed food and their theory probably is quite valid. I continue to learn about this topic and was surprised to find out that even though oatmeal is considered gluten free it is most likely contaminated in most case with gluten because of either the process or possibly the growing of the grain. A field that has had wheat in the past is considered contaminated and should not be trusted as gluten free. I found a young man who at a very young age has taken it upon himself to make sure even though he is a celiac he can still eat oatmeal. I also found out that it is not only a stomach problem but also neurological. (If someone has documentation on this topic) I would greatly appreciate it. You can email me.

Why are so many people making money on diet books when if they were very honest about it they would just direct us to the Bible? God had a plan for us from the very beginning. From fresh fruits and vegetables, to unprocessed foods it is all written about in the Bible. I have been researching this topic for several years and am amazed about how specific he was to his children.
He did not tell us to process our food and make it into different products. He told us to grow it, and prepare it naturally in the most natural state possible. So how do we prepare our own food in the city? Well it is not possible but we can buy organic food.
I grew up a dairy farm and my father did not feed the cattle hormones to increase production. But in today's market producers are adding hormones to make the cows produce more milk everyday. So what are the down falls to the human population when these hormones are added. Well for starts it is speeding up the growth process and our children are maturing faster. Some girls are starting their cycles by age 8. Can you image?
The second item I have issue with is chicken. Hormones are added to chicken feed to make their breasts grow faster because that part of the chicken produces the most profit for the buck. Again it has the same affect on our children.

My topic for the summer is Biblical Eating. I will be sharing ideas from the Bible and my goal is to intrigue you enough to read the Bible this summer.
This is the great book in history and we all need to make sure we are taking the time to read it.
I started my journey through the food of the Bible and loved the concept. I would find a food that I loved and would then search for any reference in the Bible that mentioned the word. I started with fruits, added vegetable, meats, breads and oils. The journey has taught me a lot about the people who walked the earth with Jesus and the way they lived day to day.

Are you ready for summer? Did you plant a garden with your children? How about one tomato plant in the house?
Showing your children the process of growing food with make them better informed consumers now and later in life.
A child who grows something for themselves, picks it and eats it will appreciate the work it takes to make great food.
Farms try to make great products, but like every other business - it is a business and the goal in business is to make money. God did not say, "Go forth and give everything away." The only way to give back to God is to first make money. Farms like everyone else needs to support their families.

The time is coming to prepare for summer vacations, child time and making preparation for your children's safety while you are at work.
Have you check out Vacation Bible Schools, YMCA camps and other camps. Camps offer children the opportunity to explore new things and make new connects with God if they are Christian Based Camps.
I love day camps because the children have a great place to explore and learn and then they can come home for hugs and kisses and a story or two with their parents.
Find things that will make the summer special to your children.
Plan a garden, teach them about new growth both spiritually and personally.
